Due to the recent changes through National Registry and the State of
California, all EMT students must take and pass the National Registry exam
after completing the EMT Basic course in order to become an EMT I. Upon
successful completion of the EMT Basic course, the student will receive a
course completion record. The student will then be eligible to take the
National Registry Exam.
Also, students must have their CPR card PRIOR to the first class day. If you
have a current CPR card, please bring a copy to the first class date. If you
need your CPR, please check the CPR box on the registration form and include a
SEPARATE
check of $50. CPR class will be held the Sunday prior to the first
class start date. If you are not sure if your current CPR card is acceptable,
you may call National Registry at (614) 888-4484.
Payment in full required at time of registration to secure student's place in
class.
Refunds will only be given on the first night of class provided we
are able to fill your vacancy with another student. Minimum of 25
