EMT-Basic class, will begin on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. This class will be held at the Montclair Fire Department Station No. 1, 8901 Monte Vista Ave, Mont Clair, CA 91763. The class will meet in the downstairs training classroom.
CPR: You need a current CPR Health Care Provider card in order to begin the class.
If you do not have a current CPR Health Care Provider card, we will be offering a CPR Health Care Provider class on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost for the CPR Health Care Provider class is $50. If you would like to register for this class, please submit a CPR Health Care Provider Registration Form and a check for $50. If you have a current CPR card, please make sure your card is an American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card. Your CPR card must be one of these two types of cards as the National Registry has certain criteria for CPR skills.

Fire Future
The Fire Future Program designed to prepare students for career as emergency medical technicians and related fields. The classes also prepare students to pass the National Registry exam.
All classes are taught by instructors who have experience in the field of fire prevention or emergency medical services.
The EMT/ Basic Certifacation is a 12 week course consisting of 140 hours of lecture and field work.
The CPR Health Care Provider Course is a one day 8 hours session. The CPR course is specificly desingned to prepare students for careers in fire prevention, as emergency medical technicians and related fields.
Requirements for Registration include:
18 years of age or older.
Must have a CPR card that states Health Care Provider. If you do not have a Health Care Provider CPR card. Students may enroll in the health care provider CPR class offered by Fire Future.
